Barbara L. Bicker

Barbara L. Bicker, 68, of Slippery Rock passed away Thursday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1948, in Butler, to Dorothy L. Robb Tack and the late John C. Tack.

Mrs. Bicker was a 1966 graduate of Butler High School and went on to receive her bachelor's degree from Edinboro University in 1970. She was an accomplished artist, gourmet cook, professional shopper and skilled in decoration and home design. Barbara was involved in various church functions. Her greatest joy though, was spending time with her children and her 10 grandchildren and their activities.

She is survived by her loving husband, Russell, who she married Aug. 22, 1970; one son, Mark R. Bicker and his wife, Caitlin, of Grove City; one daughter, Erin L. Buchanan and her husband, Matthew, of Grove City; 10 grandchildren, Amelia, Scout, Dash, Dalton, Madison, Coleman, Caitlyn, Hanna, Shay and Reagan; her mother, Dorothy L. Tack of Butler; three brothers, John G. Tack and his wife, Elaine, of Middletown, Ohio, William B. Tack and his wife, Donna, of Hilliards, and Jeffrey M. Tack of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

BICKER — Friends of Barbara L. Bicker, who died Thursday, April 13, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. Tim Goodman officiating.
