Marijuana dealer sentenced to probation
An Indianola man, formerly of Butler, accused of possessing nearly half pound of suspected marijuanaduring a probation home check at a Butler apartment, was sentenced to probation in Butler County Court on Thursday.
Jeffrey N. Bain Jr., 31, was sentenced to 24 months probation by county Judge William Shaffer after pleading guilty to felony criminal use of a communications facility on Feb. 1.
Bain was initially charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, the communications facility charge, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, which were dismissed as part of the guilty plea.
