Lorraine P. Kummer

Lorraine P. Kummer, 89, of Butler passed away Wednesday surrounded by her family.

She was born April 18, 1927, in Butler, to the late Henry Gerhart and the late Irene Lauer Gerhart.

Lorraine was a retired nurse's aide for Butler Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Joan Stalker and her husband, William, of Butler and Brenda Pfeffer of Butler; one son, Robert K. Kummer of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard LeRoy Kummer, who died Dec. 18, 1989; her son, Richard L. Kummer Jr. and his wife, Julia; her son-in-law, Charles Pfeffer; and her siblings, Peggy McCall and Richard Gerhart.

KUMMER — According to the wishes of Lorraine P. Kummer, who died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, there will be no visitation or funeral services.Arrangements were handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
