Phyllis Irene Kradel
Phyllis Irene Kradel, 75, of Adams Township, formerly of Zelienople, passed away Wednesday at Concordia of Cranberry.
Born Oct. 7, 1941, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth R. Harrington and Lillian I. Means Harrington.
Phyllis attended Mars Alliance Church. She had a love of traveling internationally and had the pleasure of visiting China and European countries. Phyllis also enjoyed going on cruises with her late husband, Chester.
In her free time, she enjoyed painting, playing the piano, swimming, going out to eat and spending time with her friends. She was also a proud member of the Keenagers. Phyllis will be fondly remembered as a feisty woman who loved and enjoyed life.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two children, Rick (Gina) Kradel of Mt. Lebanon and Barb (Chip) Marra of Butler; three grandchildren, Marissa and Alona Marra, and Grant Kradel; her sister, Barbara Galey of Beaver; two step-sisters, Rita Ann Wall and Mary Bonzo of Beaver Falls; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester L. Kradel, whom she married Oct. 10, 1959, and who died Nov. 18, 2006; a sister, Shirley Kosanovich; a step-sister, Helen Woloszyn; and a nephew, Michael Kosanovich.
KRADEL — The family of Phyllis Irene Kradel, who died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, will receive friends from noon until the time of a funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
