Adeline Hills, age 5, of Butler is featured in a national advertising campaign with Rite Aid. She is the daughter of Joel and Desiree Hills.

If you walk past Rite Aid on Main and Cunningham streets in Butler, you'll be able to see “Little Miss Rite Aid” proudly displayed on a banner.

Butler five-year-old Adeline Hills, or “Little Miss Rite Aid” as she calls herself, earned a spot on a nationwide Rite Aid advertisement.

Adeline traveled with her family to Pittsburgh to be one of a few hundred children auditioning to be displayed in Rite Aid's summer advertisement. Under minimal direction, Adeline was free to jump, yell and eat ice cream.

One week later, Adeline was told she was one of three children across the nation chosen for the advertisement. She was elated when she saw the banner.

“She said, 'That's me!,'” said Desiree Hills, her mother. “She just couldn't believe it.”
