Suzan A. Hixon

Suzan A. Hixon, 55, of Mars died Sunday afternoon at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born July 21, 1961, in Seoul, South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Carole M. Cashdollar Stiefel.

Suzan had been a paralegal for the Victims Outreach Intervention Center and had attended Old Union Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Joel Hixon of Penn Township and Luke Hixon of Mars; her former husband, Barry Hixon of Penn Township; three brothers, Steven (Alvie) Stiefel of Douglasville, Ga., John Stiefel of Trafford and Ricardo J. Stiefel of Douglasville, Ga.; and her sister, Amy (Bernard) Banyai of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, David.

HIXON — Friends of Suzan A. Hixon, who died Sunday, April 9, 2017, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev.
