Moon Twp. man pleads guilty in terroristic threats case
A Moon Township man, charged with threatening the lives of his family members and assaulting a police officer, pleaded guilty to terroristic threats in Butler County Court on Wednesday.
Kent C. Bowers, 67, pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge before county Judge Timothy McCune.
Bowers was initially charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, four counts of terroristic threats and four counts of harassment after an incident in Lancaster Township on Oct. 6.
Officers from the state police, Lancaster Township, Zelienople and Jackson Township police departments were called to Bowers’ house on Scott Ridge Road around noon for a report of a domestic disturbance, according to the criminal complaint.
