Henry G. “Hank” Zukowski Jr.

Henry G. “Hank” Zukowski Jr., 68, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 9, 1948, in Fisher, W.Va., he was the son of Henry and Dorothy Zukowski.

Hank served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, where he received three bronze stars and two commendation medals.

He worked as a supervisor in the cafeteria at the VA Butler Healthcare. He was a member of Saxonburg VFW Post 7376, Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Co., Sarver Vets and the Order of the Eagles in Ridgeway. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his daughter, Brittany Zukowski of Renfrew; his sons, Brandon Zukowski of Saxonburg and Travis Zukowski of Saxonburg; his grandson, Joshua “JJ” Weleski; and one sister, Lorna Myers of Bridgeport, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

ZUKOWSKI — Friends of Henry G. “Hank” Zukowski Jr., who died Sunday, April 9, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev.
