Benjamin Lee Fair
Benjamin Lee Fair, 72, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1944, in Butler, the son of the late Edgar T. and Nellie Brewster Fair.
Ben retired from Black & White Express after 19 years of service and had been a bar steward at the French & Belgium Club for 25 years. He was a member of the French & Belgium Club and the Italian Society. He enjoyed bowling and restoring old cars, and he was an avid sports fan.
Surviving are two daughters, Pamela S. Fair and Thrissa M. (Michael) Beck, both of Butler; two sons, David “Mike” (Debra) Fair and Steven (April) Fair Sr. both of Butler; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
FAIR — Per the request of Benjamin Lee Fair, who died Friday, April 7, 2017, there will be no visitation.A memorial service will be from 1 to 4 p.m. April 29 at the Italian Society, 217 Hickory St., Butler.
