Frank W. Matuke

Frank W. Matuke, 68, of Butler, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

He was born July 23, 1948 in Coraopolis, to the late Steve Matuke and Elizabeth McCommons Kirsch.

He worked for several years as a painter and sandblaster with Local 1066 Grove City.

Frank also did roofing on the side for Summerville Roofing. He was a member of the French and Belgium Club, Italian Club and the East Butler Club. Frank enjoyed riding his Harley and working on cars.

Frank is survived by his wife Diana whom he married on Nov. 10, 1987; three sons, Frank (Colleen) Matuke Jr. of Chippewa, Richard Matuke of Lawrenceville, and Travis Matuke of Butler; one daughter, Betty Jo Matuke of Butler; two brothers, Steve (Mary) Matuke of Minn., and Donald (Mary Lou) Matuke of Texas; several nieces and nephews; and three God children, twins, Michelle and Alishia Cousins and Bill Cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Charles and Paul; and his first wife, Norma Lipscomb Matuke.

MATUKE — Per his request, there will be no visitation and burial will be private for Frank W. Matuke, who died April 6, 2017.
