Donald K. Lowe, 89, of Parker passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017, while under the care of VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born Feb. 7, 1928, in Butler, he was the son of the late Albert Theodore and Martha Moyer Lowe.

Don proudly served our country during World War II in the Navy.

He worked as a physicist for Gulf Research and taught mathematics at Clarion University. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, William and Robert; his brothers, Alan and Steve; and his five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian.

LOWE — Friends of Donald K. Lowe, who died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, will be received from 4:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road.

Don will be laid to rest at Parker Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
