Alpacas groomed, sheared
An Alpaca has its nails cut before shearing starts Saturday morning at Alpaca Palace in Butler Township. Co-owner Rick Ritenour, left, calms the animals as the annual shearing process gets under way at the farm off South Benbrook Road. The alpacas were shorn, weighed, had their teeth cleaned, nails trimmed and received annual doses of medication.
