Lawrence “Larry” Creech

Lawrence “Larry” Creech, 78, of Harrisville passed away at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Trinity Living Center in Grove City following an extended illness.

Larry was born Oct. 16, 1938, in rural Kentucky to the late Fulton and Alma Melton Creech. He was one of 10 children.

Larry was a salesman at Foss Ford for many years when it was known as the largest Ford dealership in the tri-state area.

He loved to play and collect guitars and loved music. He also had a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that he loved. He was a member of the BPO Elks.

He was a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Leane Staab, and her husband, Matthew, of Harrisville; two grandchildren, Kara McDougall and her husband, Terry, of Harrisville and Matthew Staab Jr. and his wife, Brooke, of Jackson Center; and two great-grandsons, Gavyn and Evyn McDougall, both of Harrisville.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by eight siblings.

CREECH — Family and friends of Lawrence “Larry” Creech, who died Sunday, April 2, 2017, are welcome from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville.A memorial service will take place at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
