Judith Ann McIntyre Wright
Judith Ann McIntyre Wright, 74, of Parker passed away early Tuesday morning at VNA Inpatient Hospice Center in Butler after a courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was born March 1, 1943, in Hillville, Armstrong County. She was the daughter of the late Guy A. McIntyre and Dorothy R. Barger McIntyre Crissman.
A graduate of Karns City High School, Class of 1961, she became the first female paramedic in Butler County, where she was employed for over 10 years. Later in her career, she became a secretary for Chicora Medical Center.
On Oct. 1, 2003, Judy married Martin Wright, who survives.
Judy looked forward to family gatherings when they could all be together. Being a mother and grandmother was a proud achievement and her love for them is eternal. She was a member of the Lioness Club of Petrolia and also was an adventurer who loved being outside, especially on the water. She loved to canoe, hike, go camping and spend time fishing. She had a fondness for camping in Canada and was proud that she made it to the Canadian National Expo.
In addition to her husband, Martin, she will be deeply missed by her one and only daughter, Tina Louise Stewart and her husband, Eric, of Petrolia; four sons, Timothy Lee Lipinski of Bradys Bend, Thomas Michael Lipinski and his fiancée, Susan Kochan, of Key West, Fla., Robert James Lipinski and his wife, Monalie, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Scott Matthew Lipinski and his wife, Kirsten, of Orlando, Fla.; three stepchildren, Renee Diana Michaud and her husband, John, of Boston, Mass., Rachel Lee Cumberland and her husband, Brad, of Rimersburg, Pa., and Jennifer Ann Wright of Deerfield, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; two brothers, Dale McIntyre of Punxsutawney, Pa., and David McIntyre of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Charles and Robert McIntyre.
WRIGHT — Friends of Judith Ann McIntyre Wright, who died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 S. Wayne Ave., Parker.The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Parker United Methodist Church, 105 S. Jackson Ave., Parker.
