Etoile L. Morey

Etoile L. Morey, 92, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.

She was born June 1, 1924, in Butler, the daughter of the late Charles Diehl and LaCrete McCormick Diehl.

Etoile was a member of Harlansburg Presbyterian Church. She was a 1946 graduate and alumni of Butler County Memorial School of Nursing and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also loved to bake and cook.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia (David) Kovach of Cranberry Township and Marcia (Robert) Luchkiw of Ravena, N.Y.; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Morey of Cochranton; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and three sisters, Vivian (Harold) Tribble of Slippery Rock, Vanda Mae (Burton) Brewster of Meridian and Alice Raskowsky of Grove City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter K. Morey, who died Aug. 29, 2011; her son, W. Kenneth Morey Jr.; her sister, Eileen Steighner; and her brother, Russell Diehl.

MOREY — Friends of Etoile L. Morey, who died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, will be received from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, with the Rev. Brady Randall and the Rev. Dennis Henley officiating.
