There will be a pet blessing on Sunday in Lyndora.

There will be a Blessing of the Animals and pet fair on Sunday, May 7 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Butler General Vagabonds, located at 138 Whitestown Road in Lyndora.

The pet blessing ceremony will be held at 2 p.m.

Bring your beloved pets and join O'Shea, Thompson-Miller Funeral Home's own grief companion dog, to be blessed.

There will be a Chinese basket raffle that will benefit Canine Companions for Independence. Animals that attend should be well socialized. All pets must be on a leash or in an appropriate carrier.

If your beloved pet is sick or has passed away, you may bring a picture and an item, such as a collar or sweater, to honor their memory with a blessing.
