Kira Elizabeth Paulsen
Kira Elizabeth Paulsen of Pittsburgh reposed herself to the Lord quietly Thursday at her home. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family.
Kira was born March 13, 1984, in Latrobe, Pa. She was a whimsical, independent spirit who always walked her own path. Her quirky sense of humor, infectious smile and unending optimism spread joy to others throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
Kira was a loving sister, mother, daughter and friend to many. Her greatest pride came in the form of her three sons, Alexander, Anthony and Brendan. Kira was happiest when she was around her three boys teaching them how to swim and the same adventure games from her own childhood summers spent at Nana and Papa's home with her sister and cousins.
Kira is survived by her three beautiful boys, Alexander, Anthony and Brendan; her sister and best friend, Stephanie; her beloved mother and fathers, Nancy and Robert Branch and Neal Paulsen; her devoted companion, Bruce Mostoller; and numerous cousins, stepsisters, stepbrothers, aunts, uncles and other family members and friends.
