E. Romaine Bachman
E. Romaine Bachman, 86, of Cabot passed away Saturday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born May 15, 1930, in Butler, she was the daughter of Kenneth and S. Beryl Bridge Criner.
Romaine, known to all who loved her as “Gram,” dedicated herself to her grandchildren as they grew up, not only as small children, but she attended all their events and activities from grade school through all their life events.
Her family will be forever grateful to the wonderful, caring people at Concordia for how they also loved and cared for her over the past few years.
Romaine was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and demonstrated her faith throughout her life.
Surviving are her children, Pam Rissman of Indianapolis, Ind., Rich (Lu) Bachman of Lake City, Mich., Sue (Scott) Briggs of Valencia and Margie (Tom) Walsh of Saxonburg; 10 grandchildren, Clint Rissman, Jill (DR) Kwapis, Kali (Michael) Harmon, Andrew (Dana) Briggs, Mary (Jason) Parker, Wes (Brooke) Briggs, Shannon Walsh, Rob (Jenn) Briggs, Abbey Walsh and Leah Walsh; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Neubert of Cabot.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. Bachman on April 4, 1981; and her brother, Richard Criner.
BACHMAN — Friends of E. Romaine Bachman, who died Saturday, April 1, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Fox Funeral Home, Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Cabot, with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
