Bentley Thomas Miller
Bentley Thomas Miller, 4, of Butler passed away March 21.
Bentley was born Sept. 4, 2012.
The innocence of a child.
Bentley was only four, at a time when his only concern should have been what toy am I going to play with today, what cousin am I going to have an adventure with, what TV show will I watch. He loved playing basketball, riding his bike, his scooter and his skateboard. He was fascinated with garbage trucks, and his favorite TV show was “Paw Patrol.” He was a joyful, playful child, free-spirited and happy. How could he have known what he did wrong? Why was he being treated this way? The fear that must have confused him.
Bentley was only four. He was caught up in the anger, the hate and the evil this world so surrounds us with. He was just looking for a hug, a kiss, someone to tell him they love him.
Bentley was only four.
Our lives are so filled with frivolous things, so filled with rants, the hatred, the “postings,” we forget that Bentley was only four.
We learn to fulfill our lives with love, love for Bentley, to never forget his existence, to understand the meaning of life, and that is love, love for one another.
We have a chance; Bentley did not. It's easy to ask “why,” but the root comes from within ourselves.
Jesus tells us in Mathew 19:14, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Bentley was only four.
Remember Bentley for his nature, his smiling face, his shining personality and when you wake up every morning, remember ...
Bentley was only 4.
Bentley will be greatly missed by many, including his mom and dad, Mackenzie Peters and Tyler Miller; his brother, Kingsley Peters; his grandparents, Dave Peters Jr., Lori Nash, Sabrina Velez and Ed Velez; his Nana, Marlene Somogy; his great-grandparents, Dave and Melda Peters Sr., Roy and Beverly Oesterling, Patti Reed and Ed Nash; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
MILLER — Private services have been completed for Bentley Thomas Miller, who died Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
