John “Jack” Webb

John “Jack” Webb, 98, of Butler passed away Wednesday at VA Butler Healthcare Medical Center.

Jack was born March 3, 1919, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of John T. Webb and Amelia Cuda Webb.

He worked as a maintenance supervisor for General Services Administration. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and Saxonburg American Legion Post 683. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading westerns, camping and fishing.

Surviving are his children, Judy (Jon) Benedetti of Vienna, W.Va., Kathy (Marty Mitchell) Webb of Renfrew, Diane (Steve) Harrington of Valencia, Tim (Charlene) Webb of North Huntingdon and Mary Anne Iole of Saxonburg; eight grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Brittany, Julie, Madison, Reilly and Jack; and his sister, Betty (Sam) Noey of Hesston, Pa.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Agnes Slesinski Webb on Sept. 16, 1986; one son, John Thomas “Jack” Webb; his son-in-law, Keith Iole; and three brothers.

WEBB — Friends of John “Jack” Webb, who died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
