Gretta L. Spicer
Gretta L. Spicer, 77, of Cranberry Township passed away Tuesday while surrounded by her family.
Born May 23, 1939, in Callery, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Lamount Nicklas and Dorothy Anita Rearick.
Gretta lived for her family, cherishing every moment she spent with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, John Spicer; her children, Debbie (Charlie) Istik of Freedom, Greg (Virginia Flask) Spicer of Freedom, Jeff (Dana) Spicer of Harmony, Terri (David) Nesbitt of Baden and Kathy Adkins and her companion, Michael Syppko, of Renfrew; her son-in-law, Robert Adkins; her grandchildren, Shannon Petsch, Daniel (Deanna), Gregory, Steven, Ryan, Chelsy, Brett, Caitlyn and Alexa; her great-grandchildren, Marshall, Kinley and Parker John; her brothers, Louis (Gail) Nicklas of Prospect and the Rev. Norman (Evelyn) Nicklas of Camp Hill, Pa.; her sisters, Jinny (Bob) Chambers of Buffalo, N.Y., Gayle Nicklas of Indiana, Pa., and Kathy (Dave) Stuebgen of Harmony; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Gretta was preceded in death by her third child, John Randolph Poole Spicer.
SPICER — Friends of Gretta L. Spicer, who died Tuesday, March 28, 2017, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
