Susan L. Jones

Susan L. Jones, 51, of Butler passed away Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice after a courageous 17-year battle with breast cancer.

She was born June 9, 1965, in Butler, the daughter of Ronald Klever of Butler and the late Sylvia Elliott Klever.

Susan was a graduate of Butler High School in 1983, Franklin Hospital School of Radiologic Technology and Greenville Hospital School of Ultrasound Associates. She worked at Butler Memorial Hospital as an ultrasound technician.

Susan greatly loved the outdoors and enjoyed going on camping trips with her family. When not exploring, she was an avid gardener and simply loved being in the sunshine. She had a great passion for her sons and was sure to never miss a single event of theirs. Her two sons were her life.

Along with her father, she is survived by her husband, Todd Jones of Butler, who she wed March 27, 1994; two sons, Garrett Jones and Joshua Jones of Butler; one sister, Sandy Ferguson, and her husband, James, of Butler; and one niece, Jessica Toth, and her husband, Caleb, and their four children, Ryan, Austin, Brooklyn and Aislyn of Fredonia.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and her brother, Ronald H. Klever.
