Mary Frances Texter
Mary Frances Texter, 80, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Boyers, passed away peacefully Friday at her home.
She was born Oct. 1, 1936, in Ganister, Pa., the daughter of the late John Fitzingo and Frances Dellich Fitzingo.
Mary Frances was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She volunteered for St. Alphonsus School in Wexford and loved being with her St. Ferdinand Catholic Church community. She devoted much of her time to her family.
Surviving are her husband, Harvey Texter, whom she married June 27, 1956; her daughter, Judith (Alex) Zedreck-Gonzalez of Allison Park; two grandchildren, Courtney (Eric) Proie of Mars and Colin (Erin) Zedreck of Seven Fields; two great-grandchildren, Eric and Alexandra Proie; her great-grandpuppy, Mia Zedreck; her brother, Gary (Donna) Fitzingo of Boyers; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother; two sisters; one nephew; and her loyal puppy, Louie.
Mary's family is very grateful to Colleen Franz and the ladies of St. Ferdinand's, her care assistants, Debbie Erskine, Sue Edwards, Linda Ferianc, Linda Wilson and Maureen Peterson, and AHN Healthcare at Home Hospice.
TEXTER — Friends of Mary Frances Texter, who died Friday, March 24, 2017, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
