Carol Ann Young

Carol Ann Young, 83, of Cypress, Texas, passed away March 8.

Carol Ann Young was the daughter of the late Eddie and Elsie McCollough and a loving wife to her late husband, Walter A. Young Sr. Carol and her husband shared 54 years of marriage together and raised 11 wonderful children.

She was preceded in death by her sons, John J. Young Sr. and Edward C. Young; her grandsons, John J. Young Jr. and Bradley Young; and her brother, Robert McCollough.

Carol Ann Young is survived by her son, Bob Young, and his wife, Pearl; her daughter, Barb Markwell and her husband, Dave; her daughter, Sharon Westberg and her husband, Roy; her daughter-in-law, Becky Young; her son, Dave Young and his wife, Maureen; her daughter, Kay Templeton and her husband, Randy; her son, Walt Young, and his wife, Denise; her son, Keith Young, and his wife, Shirley; her daughter, Deanna Voreh, and her husband, Ron; and her daughter, Denise Bull, and her husband, Dave.

Carol also is survived by her siblings; her sister, Marilyn Henderson; and her three brothers, Charles McCollough, Sam McCollough and his wife, Jeanne, and Joe McCollough and his wife, Vera.

She also is survived by her 28 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

YOUNG — Funeral Mass for Carol Ann Young, who died Wednesday, March 8, 2017, will be at 10 a.m. April 1 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N. Frazier St., Conroe, Texas.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 6055 S. Loop E., Houston, Texas 77087 or to Hospice Plus, 6750 W. Loop South, Suite 780, Bellaire, Texas 77401.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Metcalf Funeral Directors of Conroe, Texas.
