Pittsburgh
Authorities say a smoky fire destroyed a row of three vacant buildings, but no injuries were reported.
The city’s public safety department said the blaze in Mount Washington was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
More than 75 firefighters were called to battle the flames.
Public safety spokesman Sonya Toler said residents were told to keep doors and windows closed “because there’s so much smoke.”
The cause of the fire is being sought. Toler said the department’s arson unit is in charge of the investigation.
Public works crews were to place barricades around the site to keep people out of harm’s way, and crews were to begin clearing the debris today.

A coroner has ruled the death of a man who fell from a building accidental.
Allegheny County and city officials said 21-year-old Colin Montesano fell about 20 feet and landed between two apartment buildings in Oakland at about 8:45 p.m. Friday.
Public safety officials said he was found conscious and taken to UPMC Presbyterian, where the Allegheny County medical examiner’s office said he died just after 10 p.m. Friday.
The medical examiner’s office said Sunday that Montesano died of blunt force trauma to the head and trunk and ruled the manner of death accidental.
