Rose Mary McCoy
Rose Mary McCoy, 80, of Portersville passed away Wednesday morning from a long illness.
Born May 5, 1936, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Monica Zarnick Dufford.
She worked as a cook at the former Eppinger's Restaurant in Portersville for more than 40 years. After she retired, she enjoyed traveling and seeing new places with her family.
Rose attended Zion Baptist Church, Slippery Rock. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Rose Mary is survived by her siblings, Martin Dufford of Butler, Bertha Dufford of Butler, Anna Slagle of Callery and Betty (Ronald) Smith of Renfrew; a number of nieces and nephews; and her brother-in-law, Allen (Mary) McCoy of Pensacola, Fla.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman McCoy, who died Feb. 7, 2004; one sister; and four brothers.
MCCOY — Visitation for Rose Mary McCoy, who died Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tom Mehling, her pastor, officiating.
