Marvin G. Hoy I of Butler passed away Tuesday.

Marvin was the son of Barbara Hoy of Butler and the late Charles Hoy; the brother of Margaret Hoy, Roxanne Hoy-Matthews, Suzy Hoy, Curtis Hoy and the late Charlie Hoy; the significant other to Theresa Nation Hoy; the father of Tamara Williams, Marvin Hoy II, Jasmine Hoy, Andrew Hoy, Lamont Hoy, Shana Hoy, Tiara Hoy and Shekera Hoy; the grandfather of Kaliyah Ross, Theodore Ross Jr., Marvin Hoy III, Tamya West, Alayiah Williams, Iszaiah Williams, Amani Williams, Iyana Williams and Jaky'la Williams.

He also is survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Marvin was a strong compassionate, loving person and an amazing father. He would do whatever he could to help someone out. He was loved by so many, and he will be deeply missed.
