Paul Edward Wehr

Paul Edward Wehr, 88, a longtime resident of Zelienople, passed away Monday at the Washington County Health Center.

Born Oct. 2, 1928, in Zelienople, he was the son of the late Edward Adam Wehr and Minnah Anna Wahl Wehr.

Paul was Lutheran. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Elmer Peffer Cleaning Co. and as a butcher for the Wehr and Mathe Meat Market.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Paula Clapper, and her husband, Rick, of Washington, Pa.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Chervyl Jean Brandon Wehr, who died June 26, 1992; and his half sister, Lillian Conrad.

WEHR — A funeral ceremony for Paul Edward Wehr, who died Monday, March 20, 2017, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Paul will be laid to rest with military honors at the Zelienople Community Mausoleum.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
