Paul Sanford
Paul Sanford, 75, of Butler passed away unexpectedly Wednesday.
He was born Oct. 24, 1941, in Lebanon, Ind., the son of the late Dewey Sanford and the late Minnie Ziegler Sanford.
Paul was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church. He was a 50-year member of the Grand Lodge F&AM of Sullivan, Ind., Lodge 263.
Paul retired from Service Star Hardware. He then continued his career as a merchandise consultant in Thailand, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
Paul especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He liked computers and researching history. Paul also enjoyed watching basketball, Indy-style car racing and hockey.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carolyn “Kay” Fiesel Sanford; two sons, Todd Sanford and his wife, Myong, of Columbus, Ohio, and Troy Sanford and his wife, Emily, of Shaler, Pa.; one daughter, Traci Duffy, and her husband, Ed, of Saxonburg; and five grandchildren, Laura, Aaron, Scout and Effie, and Emma.
He will be sadly missed, but warmly remembered.
