Shirley A. Wise
Shirley A. Wise, 76, of Evans City passed away Tuesday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.
Born Jan. 5, 1941, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Claire L. and Ruth M. Burkert Hoffman.
Shirley was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins, but above all, cherished the time she spent with her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Roland M. (Ann) Wise Jr. of Zelienople, Matthew J. Wise of Richmond, Va., and Susan K. Wise of Warren, Ohio; her grandchildren, Megan E. and Andrew J. Wise; her brother, John E. Hoffman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roland M. Wise, who died Oct. 1, 2014; and her sister, Doris J. Brittner.
