Paul E. Sinz Jr.
Paul E. Sinz Jr., 81, of Butler passed away peacefully Wednesday at his home.
Born June 18, 1935, in Altoona, Pa., he was a son of the late Paul E. Sinz Sr. and Helen Rider Sinz.
He graduated from Butler High School. Paul had worked as a manager for Baltimore Life Insurance Co., retiring following 30 years of service.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 778 in Lyndora and was secretary and treasurer of the Locker Room Golf League for many years.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. In recent years, what he enjoyed the most was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Constance “Connie” Hinchberger Sinz, who he married April 7, 1958; two sons, Jefferey Paul (Dianne) Sinz of Chicora and David Edward (Lisa) Sinz of Hershey, Pa.; six grandchildren, Blaine, Ben, Anna, Claire, Caroline and Kate; two sisters, Alyce Ann (Jim) Daum of Georgia and Carole Lee (Frank) Rajchel of Butler; one brother, Michael (Cathy) Reese of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Sinz; and his brother, Thomas Sinz.
SINZ — Friends of Paul E. Sinz Jr., who died Wednesday, March 15, 2017, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A blessing service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
