No sightings reported in search for Butler homicide suspect

The U.S. Marshals are seeking David “Dae Dae” Jabril Franklin in connection with a March 16 homicide.

It's been a month since a shooting at a Butler apartment complex left a Philadelphia man dead.

His alleged teenager killer remains on the run.

And the suspect, David “Dae Dae” Jabril Franklin, 19, of Brackenridge, Allegheny County, is apparently doing a good job keeping a low profile.

“We've received no tips or reports of any sightings,” Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Jon Gallagher of the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, said today.

The marshals task force is leading the manhunt for Franklin, who is accused in an arrest warrant with gunning down Rashaan Khalil Adams, 20, of Philadelphia at the Wick Street Apartments on March 16.

Specifically, he is charged with a top count of homicide.

Butler police said Franklin shot Adams twice in the head and once in the chest. Adams died on the kitchen floor of the apartment. He had spent the previous night there.

Kimberly Schnur, who was the tenant at the time, told police she witnessed the shooting.
