Jean L. Rearick

Jean L. Rearick, 93, of Connoquenessing passed away at 8:45 p.m. Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 12, 1923, in Meridian, to the late William F. Hilliard and Alda E. Stauffer Hilliard.

Jean retired from Milo Williams Jewelers, where she worked for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II.

Jean was an active member of the Connoquenessing United Methodist Church, where she was the choir director for over 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” W. Rearick Jr., whom she married Aug. 28, 1946; three daughters, Barbara J. Hiles and her husband, Charles, of Butler, Deborah K. Frederick of Butler and Lezlee S. Shulik of Connoquenessing; three granddaughters; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold L. Hilliard of Connoquenessing; one sister, Bonnie M. Boyer, and her husband, Dan, of Canton, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William C. Hilliard.

REARICK — There will be no public visitation or funeral services for Jean L. Rearick, who died Friday, March 10, 2017.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
