Cathy I. Holby, 65, of Butler passed away Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Sept. 13, 1951, in Butler, the daughter of the late Merle Edwin Holby and the late Mae Irene Thompson Holby Blowers.

Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Salopek Gregg of Butler; her sister, Brenda Graham of Butler; two aunts, Nancy Ferrari of Butler and Nancy Ross of James Creek, Pa.; a nephew; and cousins.

HOLBY — A private service and private burial for Cathy I. Holby, who died Thursday, March 9, 2017, are being held at the West Sunbury Union Cemetery. Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, is handling arrangements.
