Charles Wesley Hinchberger
Charles Wesley Hinchberger, 93, of Butler died Monday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot.
Born Oct. 15, 1923, in Butler, he was a son of the late Charles Hinchberger and Amanda Hickey Hinchberger.
Charles was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 66 since 1952, was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus 866 and also the South Butler Fireman's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Elinor Curry Hinchberger, who he married in 1946; three children, Linda (Charles) Cunningham, Timothy (Sandra) Hinchberger and Charles (Carol) Hinchberger, all of Butler; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Alene Sankey, Phyllis Slupe and Garnet Kriley, all of Butler.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Morrison, Richard and Robert Hinchberger; and four sisters, Elsie Mohn, Katherine Slupe, Mary Shulik and Jean Kingan.
HINCHBERGER — Friends of Charles Wesley Hinchberger, who died Monday, March 6, 2017, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
