Chauncy A. Fusco Jr.

Chauncy A. Fusco Jr., 82, of Butler passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born June 13, 1934, in Ellwood City, he was a son of the late Chauncy A. Sr. and Madelyn Piscatelli Fusco.

He worked at Magnetics Research and Development as a ferrite engineer. He retired in 1998 following 40 years service.

He was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian where he served as an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister. He was a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank for many years.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his daughter, Michele (Charles) Jordan of Butler; two sons, Blase Fusco of Butler and Sean (Sandra) Fusco of New Mexico; three grandchildren, Kamal, Samirah and Rabia Boksmati; two stepgrandchildren, Chuck and Tom Jordan; two great-grandsons, Harper and Lucian; his brother, Charles (Claire) Fusco of Chippewa, Pa.; two sisters, Sister Alice Fusco of San Antonio, Texas, and Frances Folio of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Zaccheo Fusco, who died May 28, 2006.

FUSCO — Friends of Chauncy A. Fusco Jr., who died Friday, March 3, 2017, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Butler, with the Rev.
