Local veterans received makeovers and put on the By the Sea fashion show Tuesday at VA Butler Healthcare in Butler Township.

Veterans Irwin Scott, and Tawney Mulneix, modeled their outfits for the program.

Models were offered haircuts and style tips to prepare for the show.

The event promoted mental health recovery and educated veterans on how to dress and groom for formal events, interviews, work and casual situations.

VA Butler's Center for Behavioral Health Recovery Team hosted the event.
