Bernadette Heard, 84, of Renfrew passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

Born June 20, 1932, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Wallace W. and Ruth Irma Hutchings Bauer.

She was a member of the Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church in Butler.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Heard, to whom she married Nov. 26, 1964; her sister, Bonnie Thomas; her brother, George E. (Velma) Bauer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Victor and Kenneth E. Bauer; and one sister, Donna Jane Bauer.
