Mary Louise Stevenson
Mary Louise Stevenson, 90, of Butler passed away Sunday at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1926, in Butler, to the late William A. Stevenson and the late Mary Elizabeth Neely Stevenson.
She was a graduate of Butler High School's class of 1945. Mary was a member of North Street Christian Church. She retired from W.T. Grant Store in 1975 after 28 years of service. Mary also worked at McCarrens Clothing Store in Butler as a receiving clerk. She worked at North Street Christian Church as the nursery attendant for 14 years.
Later, she joined the senior aid program working at the Butler County Recreation Center, the Butler Library and the Butler County Treasurer's office.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Stevenson, who died in 2002.
She is survived by several cousins; and two close families, the John Swidzinski family and the William Lewandoski family.
The family would like to thank her special caregivers, Dottie Berninger and Sherry Singer and all the Medi Home Care professionals.
STEVENSON — Friends of Mary Louise Stevenson, who died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, will be received from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at North Street Christian Church, immediately followed by a service at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Huber, her pastor, officiating.Private entombment will be at Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Blind Association of Butler County, 322 N.
