Lois M. Campbell
Lois M. Campbell, 89, of Fairview passed away Wednesday evening at Parker Personal Care.
Lois was born March 30, 1927, in Kaylor. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Bertha Lanterman Vensel.
She was a graduate of Fairview Township Karns City High School. In her earlier years, she had been a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Fairview and later the Fairview Presbyterian Church.
Lois enjoyed playing cards with friends. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, quilting, ceramics and most especially the company of her “grandkids.”
Lois was married Sept. 20, 1958, in Kaylor, to Dale S. Campbell. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 2012.
She is survived by her son, William C. “Bill” Campbell, and his wife, Melissa “Missy,” of Chicora; three granddaughters, Kayla Andreassi and her husband, Nick, of Fairview, Ashley Campbell of Pittsburgh and Chelsea Campbell, a student at Slippery Rock University; her sister, Sara Schnell, and her husband, Lee, of Karns City; her sister-in-law, Roberta Vensel of Chicora; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard “Dick” Vensel and Donald Bishop; four sisters, Mary Wick, Margaret “Peg” Fair, Mildred Friters and Doris Gray.
CAMPBELL — Friends of Lois M. Campbell, who died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora.A funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Barger, pastor of the Scrubgrass Stone Church, Emlenton, officiating.
