Catherine “Kay” Elizabeth Tiedt Chenot Divers Coleman

Catherine “Kay” Elizabeth Tiedt Chenot Divers Coleman, formerly of Butler, experienced transformation from her body Tuesday at the Lehigh Acres Hope Hospice in Florida.

Born March 10, 1925, in Butler, she was the daughter of Frederick J. Tiedt and Helen P. Smith Tiedt Mitchelle; was a fun-loving sister to Orville “Bud” F. Tiedt, William John Tiedt and William F. Lawrence; was a devoted wife to George Chenot, Delbert A. Divers and Arthur R. Coleman; and a tender mother to Terrence G. Chenot, all of whom predeceased her.

She is lovingly mourned by many and survived by her dedicated caregiver and granddaughter, Cherie R. Chenot-Rose and her husband, Vincent R. Rose; her daughter-in-law, Judith A. Healsey-Chenot; her daughter-in-law, Donna J. Losteter Sellers Chenot; her stepson, Arthur C. Coleman; three stepgrandchildren, Arthur R., Frank P. and Daniel A. Coleman; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

COLEMAN — Catherine “Kay” Elizabeth Tiedt Chenot Divers Coleman, who died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. Friday at the Greenlawn Burial Estates and Mausoleum, Butler.Remembrances may be made in the form of memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
