Butler’s Belch 13th at bowling championshipsButler’s Mercedes Belch placed 13th out of 24 bowlers Friday at the Pennsylvania State Individual Girls Championship in Lancaster.Belch totaled 1,087 pins in six games, including singles of 223 and 219.Her teammate, Ashley McCue, finished 19th with 1,044 pins and a high-game of 197.Olivia Farwell of Elizabethtown High School earned the championship after rolling four of six games over 200. Her 1,290 total score included a pair of 247 games.In the boys competition, Butler’s Nick Huff was 20th after a high-game of 192. Huff’s pin total was 1,060.Moon’s Jon Kleer won the state title with 1,386 pins. His best game was a 247.
