William L. Cubbison

William L. Cubbison

William L. Cubbison, 77, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born July 1, 1939, in Butler, to the late William J. Cubbison and the late Sara M. Watt.

William worked as a supervisor for OPM retiring in 1997 after 34 years of service. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force.

William was a member of First United Methodist Church.

William is survived by his three sons, William L Cubbison Jr. and his wife, Debra, of Indiana, Michael J. Cubbison, of Ellwood City, and Mark A. Cubbison, of Butler; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Terry Cubbison of Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda L. Parker, who died March 5, 2001; two brothers, Alan Cubbison and James R. Cubbison; and two sisters, Jean Cubbison and Judy Fleeger.

CUBBISON — Friends of William L. Cubbison, who died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Goodman, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
