Emergency services in Butler County were dealing with a rash of vehicle accidents on Wednesday morning, as slick roads and snow contributed to six crashes in a two-hour period.

Rob McLafferty, the county’s 911 coordinator, said the crashes were spread out across the county and all occurred between 7:06 a.m. and 9:06 a.m. Wednesday. They included vehicle crashes in Cranberry, Adams, Worth, Penn and Center townships, as well as an accident in Mars. About half of the incidents involved two vehicles.

McLafferty said it didn’t appear that anyone was injured in any of the accidents, but added that the crashes had made for a busy morning for emergency responders.
