Roger C. Wagner, 76, of Mars died Sunday afternoon at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, Pa.

Born May 27, 1940, in Spangler, Cambria County, Pa., he was the son of the late Clair and Shirley Hallman Wagner.

Roger had been a machinist for the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Mars Rod and Gun Club.

He had served in the U.S. Navy during peacetime.

Surviving are his son, Clifford Wagner of Mars; and his sister, Stella Jane Umenhofer of Bradford Woods.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet L. Huffman Wagner, who he married Dec. 23, 1957, and who died Jan. 10, 2008.
