Barbara Hilliard, 58, formerly of Prospect, passed away peacefully Thursday at her home in New Port Richey, Fla., after fighting cancer for 10 years.

She was born Nov. 15, 1958, in Butler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vivian Hilliard.

She is survived by her children, Tina Kriess, of Butler, Bill Kriess, of Slippery Rock and Kayla Kriess, of New Port Richey; her grandchildren, Devan, of Slippery Rock, Jenna, of Butler, and Mayvin, of New Port Richey; and her sisters Beverly and Brenda, of Prospect.

Hilliard— A memorial service for Barbara Hilliard, who died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, will be conducted privately.
