James T. Eurich

James T. Eurich, 79, of Cabot passed away peacefully Tuesday at his home. He battled Alzheimer's disease for nine years.

Born July 16, 1937, in Tarentum, Pa., he was the son of the late James Eurich and Anna Hauck Eurich.

Tom was a graduate of Winfield Clinton High School and Penn Technical Institute. He worked for Gulf Research for 47 years. Upon retirement, he drove a van for Roenigk's.

Tom was in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and was a lifetime member of the NRA. Tom enjoyed hunting, gardening, growing apple and nut trees, collecting knives and spending time with his family. He loved music and the outdoors and nature.

Surviving are his loving wife of 55 years, Karen Giesler Eurich; his son, Tom (Kim) Eurich of Cabot; his daughter, Natalie (Jake) DeWalt of Medina, Ohio; four grandchildren, Moira (Joe Forester) DeWalt, Maison DeWalt, Hyte Eurich and Kennedy Eurich; his sister, Barbara (Carl) Spohn of Natrona Heights; and many nieces and nephews.

EURICH — Friends of James T. Eurich, who died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen and Vicar Dagan Siepert officiating. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.If desired, memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 241 Freeport Road, Butler PA 16002 or Adult Day Care Service at Concordia, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot PA 16023.
