James J. Coltz
James J. Coltz, 85, of Boyers passed away Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 22, 1931, in Stowe Township, Pa., to the late John Coltz Jr. and Mary Cuckovich Coltz.
James worked as a foreman for PennDOT. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horse races. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
James is survived by his three sons, Jim Coltz and his wife, Gwen, of Boyers, Jay Coltz of Middleburg, Fla., and Jerry Coltz, of Butler; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Coltz, who he married May 13, 1955, and who died June 30, 2008; one son, Jeffery Coltz; and two brothers.
