Willa Mae Allison
Willa Mae Allison, 91, of Shenango-on-the-Green in New Wilmington, passed away Friday afternoon at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Born Aug. 13, 1925, in West Sunbury, she was the daughter of Howard F. and Jesse Christy Allison.
Willa Mae retired in 1989 after 44 years from Cooper Industries in Mount Vernon, Ohio, as a bookkeeper. She was Protestant.
She is survived by one brother, Charles F. (Martha) Allison of Ellwood City; two sisters, Verna Zedreck of West Sunbury and Pearl Stark of Bolivar, N.Y.; and 31 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Guy, Bob, Wayne and her twin brother, Willis Allison; and two sisters, Virginia Hogg and Claridel Abbot.
ALLISON — Visitation for Willa Mae Allison, who died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday immediately following visitation at the funeral home with the Rev.
