Power outage affects schools, New Castle Road
A power outage has impacted several schools in the Butler area, including Butler senior and intermediate high schools, and Northwest and Center Township elementary schools.
School officials are currently trying to understand what is causing the outage. Scattered parts of New Castle Road, including traffic lights and some businesses, also have reportedly lost power.
